Incarnation participates in Dragon Boat Races!

For the first time, School of the Incarnation entered a team in Catholic Charities Dragon Boat Races. Every Monday evening throughout the summer, a team of 23 staff members gathered in Baltimore to learn and practice the sport of dragon boating in preparation for the race on September.  On Saturday, September 10th, dozens of teams competed in this great event which partners each sponsoring school or company with a designated Catholic charity.  School of the Incarnation's partner charity is Friendship Station and Friendship Village in Odenton and our goal is grow closer to and support the seniors who live there.  We are grateful to the dozens of students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff and friends who came out to cheer out team on and participate in our team chant! The record-breaking heat couldn't diminish our school spirit!  Congratulations to all of our Dragon Boat racers on a great first showing. We're looking forward to 2018!
